ELGi SCHOOLEstablished in 1989, the ELGi School provides holistic education to 1,400 children from pre-primary to higher secondary level. The school provides affordable education to children from rural communities in Vellalore in the outskirts of Coimbatore. Students from orphanages in the area are entitled to receive free education and accommodation in the school’s hostel.
ELGi AT THE COIMBATORE MARATHONAs proud sponsors, ELGi has been associated with the Coimbatore Marathon for five years in a row. It began as an opportunity for us to showcase our strong bond with the city and inspire fellow Coimbatoreans to lead a healthy and fulfilling life.
VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMMEThe ELGi vocational training programme is a perfect example of how skill development can open new doors for youngsters from underprivileged backgrounds. ELGi has hired close to 200 students who were trained through this programme.
